1. Download the client

2. Unzip and start it Extract the zip to a folder on your computer (not straight from the zip). Windows: open otclient_gl.exe; if the screen stays black, use otclient_dx.exe. Linux (64-bit): run chmod +x otclient_linux and then ./otclient_linux in that folder.
3. Create your account in the client On the login screen press Create new account — or log in with account 1 and password 1, which opens the same window. Choose a character name, male or female, a vocation and a password of 8+ characters.
4. Write down your account number The client shows your new account number in big letters, with a Copy button. You log in with that number and your password from now on.
5. Play now One click and you're in the game. A short welcome guide opens on your first login.

More characters

In the game, press New character in the top menu — it switches to the new character when you're ready. Or log out and use New character in the character list. Up to 5 characters per account.
