Rules
Short and simple: play fair and respect other players. Breaking a rule can lead to a warning, a mute or a ban, depending on how serious it is.
1. Names
- No insulting, racist or sexual names.
- No names that pretend to be staff (GM, CM, God, Admin, Tutor and similar) or copy another player.
2. Staff
- Don't threaten staff or pretend to be staff.
- Don't give staff false information or make false reports.
3. Player killing
- PvP is part of the game, but trapping players into a red or black skull on purpose (for example by stacking characters) is not allowed.
- Repeatedly killing much weaker players in their hunting spot can be punished as power abuse.
4. Chat
- No spam: don't send the same or similar message again and again.
- Never share someone else's personal information (real name, address, social media, IP).
- Use the Help channel for questions only.
5. Blocking
- Don't block other players from boats, quests or bosses.
6. Bots and cheating
- Botting is allowed, and the Ethera client comes with a bot. A botting character follows the same rules as everyone else, and you are responsible for what it does.
- Cheats are not allowed: speed hacks, packet editing, modified game files or anything else that changes how the game works.
- No more than 4 of your own characters hunting together in the same place.
- Abusing a bug is forbidden. Report bugs to staff on Discord instead — abuse can cost every account involved.
7. Real money
- Buying or selling gold, items, characters or accounts for real money is forbidden, for both buyer and seller. The shop is the only exception.
8. Accounts
- You are responsible for your account. Staff will never ask for your password.
- Staff may look at game logs (chat, trades, logins) to keep the server fair and safe; this is never made public.
