Ethera's own systems

| Pokémon companions | 3 starters (Bulbasaur → Ivysaur → Venusaur; Squirtle → Wartortle → Blastoise; Charmander → Charmeleon → Charizard). They share your experience curve, evolve, wear equipment, train skills and learn a signature move. One companion out at a time. |
| Pokédex | 242 species on the map. 9 ranks pay gold, shop points (once per account) and permanent bonus experience. |
| Hunting tasks | 29 tasks with experience, gold and item rewards; the client tracks progress and marks the spawn on your map. Say !task. |
| Outfit bonuses | Full-addon outfits give skill, health or mana bonuses. See the list. |
| Autoloot | !autoloot picks chosen items from your kills straight into your backpack. |
